I thought that was a large iron mallet!

Oh wait, that is for Century Arms CETME's.

          Good post!

I think northforest is also looking for H&K people to add to or comment on his list in case he missed something.

I'd have more than one extractor spring, they're critical and they're cheap. They also flex twice for every round chambered, whether it's fired or not.

I'd also have more than one roll pin and holder for rollers but that's just me.

The tiny rivets for the recoil spring retainer and the nylon guide ring would be nice to have if you're changing the recoil spring.

Hi I know this may be a over kill but how about a complete FA bolt/head assembly and maybe instead/in addition of the parts for the recoil rod just get a whole new one-just to simplify things. Other than that I am getting at least what is one the list but more than likely at least 3 times that due to multiple HKs-need to make sure the kids can keep them running way down the line. Thanks for the list.

                    Great List!

                    Northforest,

That's a very comprehensive list, and the effort is appreciated. I will be making sure mine is checked off!

I know we are talking parts/components, but what does everyone think about having an extra stock kit or two? You can sometimes find them for $20.00 - $30.00.

I think it's a good idea. I have a couple extra-never hurts to have parts around.

I plan on picking a couple of these up.

Nice and cheap and who cares if they are a little dinged up.

I think I'll set the list up kind of like the RTG guy has and sticky it this weekend. Keep those suggestions coming!

I've ordered a BUNCH of parts from Robert at RTG and they've all been top notch.

Usually deal with his wife, I think. Very nice nice and knowledgeable lady.
